A few things

1)  All customs are going out at once (close to 500)  Because people double ordered and what not it got so crazy to try and split it up into two ordering sessions.  That and we ran out of snaps Wednesday night (well not totally but we did have to reorder to finish) and they won't be here until Monday.

2)  If there are ANY of you guys ( Read more... )

Diaper leaks with RAIO's, AIO's and Printed pockets are sometimes hard to pinpoint. Anytime you mix cotton and fluid you have a higher chance of something leaking for sure. Cotton's nature is too absorb fluid. BUT we have diapers here that we used for a year that still don't leak and believe it or not I have/had a pretty tiny stash. Then I have one that ALL WAYS leaked.

Bunched up stuffing can cause it sure, bit it doesn't always mean it is going to happen.

The PUL could break down.. but I would hate to think it happened that fast. We may need to go to a thicker PUL. Something I noticed while trying to do a repair on someones diapers is that the thread looked as if it has pulled the wholes larger than they should be. (Meaning the wholes the needle created) It may also be that we used too dull of a needle for WAY too long or the wrong kind. We have changed to a size 12 ball point for all diapers as it causes less damage to the PUL in the long run (Or so we see and was recomended by one of the major diaper makers in the world who will remain nameless lol)

I would like to hear from all people who have them. I know leaks happen but they shouldn't happen on a regular basis and I really would like for use to have a product here that people can depend on. We are already having talks of changing the type and brand of PUL we use to something much heavier but would like to test it first and of course get feed back on the diapers that are already out as well and the ones we might make from this new PUL.

So all comments are welcome as long as you aren't totally bashing me personally or being flat out ugly. There really isn't any need for that and I think we have a great group of ladies here and don't really need to worry about it, but it does need to be said just in case.

Like Summer said, I find that my printed pockets leak around the legs (the cotton absorbs all the urine). Only a couple of my solids do that, but most of them work out just fine. We have gotten all of them figured out and now make sure that she doesn't wear certain ones for any length of time. Too bad, because I LOVE some of the prints that we have. I have noticed that my newer ones don't leak nearly as bad as my older ones do. Either way, I love Sumbuns and will use them until the little one doesn't need them anymore.

Thanks for posting my question. I have no problem being identified.

Corey wore one of his newer ones that I thought was leaking yesterday, and I had no problems with leakage, so that's positive! I was relieved. He wore it for probably about 2.5 hours. Phew!

I wonder if I should just send you the Mickey and Pirate diaper for you to look at so you can see if there are any visible problems. _stacy had a good point about them maybe being a bit too big on Corey, though they seem to fit him perfectly while the medium is on the small side. I don't think we get as much bunching when he's wearing the medium I have (though the rise is too short and he's almost at the end of the snaps).

Should I send you the diapers so you can check them out and see what is going wrong? The newer ones don't seem to be having the same problem anymore. I hate the fact that I can't use them out of the house because they are adorable. (I think when I first contacted you about the problems, they were under your warranty... I don't know if they still are.) I hope they're fixable! Let me know if I should do that and I'll send them next week sometime.
