I'm finally home from Ottawa (and I'm sorry I didn't get to see most of you while I was there). The best thing about being back is having some good home-cooked meals.
"Shepherd's pie!" my bride announced.
"But is it made with real shepherds?" I needed to know.
She did not roll her eyes. "Yes. It's made with real Shepherd Book. So when you find little black curly hairs in your food ..."
(Uh ... I just found one. She swears it's a dog hair.)
