Citizen journalism just won't work. And this sentence, which flopped its lazy ass onto my desk yesterday, is why:
"The court stated that the interpretation of the scope of claims in accordance with an analysis of the 'form and substance' of the claims, which allowed the commissioner to separate the claims into their novel and previously known elements in order to assess patentability, was incorrect."
In other news, I'm heading to Ottawa tomorrow. This time I'll be there a month, staying in a condo at Laurier and Bronson. I'll be hoping to see all you Ottawa people, and maybe have a little party overlooking the city. Also, do any of you (I'm looking especially at you, dagibbs) know whether there's a decent supermarket within walking distance?
