This has been a wonderful weekend. Really, really wonderful. Saw some good movies, ate some good food... spent lots of time with Aaron, who has been in the BEST MOOD EVER.
Buttt... today I am exhausted. Really, really exhausted. My back hurts SOOO much, and I am [beyond] bloated. I feel like I ate a hippopotamus. Ugh.

It's Friday, finally. Well, I guess I really shouldn't say it like that... because this week has flown by. But still. I look forward to the weekends so much because I finally get to spend time with Aaron without him complaining about his day at work or being exhausted. Butttt, that is about to change! Our Easter wasn't too conventional, but oh well. While most people were opening easter baskets, hunting for eggs, and having big family dinners, we were hiking, playing in the water, and picnicking by Garden creek. I love Fridays. My husband comes home in a great mood ready to drink some wine and stay up super late with me for once ♥ We're getting ready to watch a movie now.

Great weekend so far. We were very busy yesterday- eating out and shopping, mostly. It was 70 degrees and sunny, so we got to lay out by the pool for awhile, too, which was amazing. I had the most perfect Valentine's weekend ever.Nothing too extravagant- woke up to a beautiful bouquet of pink and white tulips (fresh and vibrant- I always prefer tulips or lillies to roses!) and dark chocolate, had an impressive breakfast burrito at Ivy's, a southern homestyle restaurant here in town, plenty of cuddling and relaxing, and a walk ( Read more... )

It was a very uneventful week. Tomorrow I hope to buy new running shoes and headphones for my ipod so I can start running again. I just really need to do something for me again. This weekend was wonderful. Nothing too spectacular to post about... mostly just laying around, snuggling, watching movies and relaxing.
