Various n sundry oddities
Ok, I can't remember if I mentioned in here that, mysteriously, a couple of months ago now, I started receiving a subscription to Rolling Stone magazine.
I say mysteriously becaaaaaaaause I never signed up LOL. I haven't gotten RS since college (15 yrs ago now, YIKES!) and it's not one that I would read anymore. Mostly because the musical part of it sucks. Though they did have a few interesting human interest and political stories, but nothing to make me want to get it.
Anyway, I still don't know how or why or from whom, maybe, that I got this. It is for a year, lordy hep me LOL
I mention this because another weirdness came in the mail yesterday, though not so obvious at first glance. I get envelopes all the time from my alma mater, Ohio U., asking for money for this fund and that fund. Well I got one yesterday, didn't think anything of it, and opened it. Usually there is a stub at the top telling you the total you have donated over the years (I haven't donated since the 90s, right after graduation, the rich folk can take care of that shit LOL), along with a form to fill out if you wanted to donate more, and they had listed the most recent donation from me as being done on 11-29 of this year! Um nooooooooooooo hahahahha I think not! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird. Now I'm sure there are current students as well as alums with my name, so maybe somewhere in the bowels of the automated system, they confused me with another, but still! Somewhere another AJ is thinking they should get their little confirmation form of their donation for tax purposes and they won't LOL. Now I'm just waiting for the third oddity to come in the mail, because you KNOW they happen in threes.
This next one isn't an oddity (well maybe to some hahahahaa) but rather just an obvservation, not news, not shocking, just cuz: Rob Z is one sexy mo fo.
Had to say it! OK, moving on.
My cousin moved back here to OH after living in Chi-town for the last 5 years, where she went right after graduating college (also from OU LOL), and I'm gona be spending the evening with her tomw night, along with her sis coming down from Shelby. I'm excited to see her new place and I know she's excited to show us. :D
World better watch out! Nothing but hilarity when us tre get togethah.
Also, one week until vaca! This time next week, we'll hopefully be counting down towards an early exit to begin the holiday weekend. For me it will be the holiday WEEK. Won't be back at work until 1-2-07! Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot
Oh and this past weekend, a friend and I went and checked out the new Costco up at Polaris (we had already purchased memberships thru a program at her work) and it was faboooooooooooooo. A dozen good chicken breasts for 14 bux! And they had a lot of good organic stuff, as well. We bought a couple of things between us and split them, namely some lobster bisque and some provolone cheese that looked really good LOL
I need to say that as of earlier this week, I celebrated having Sirius satellite for a year, and being able to enjoy my mornings (as well as the rest of the day, actually) with Howard, Robin, Artie (ommfg his laugh makes ME laugh, fuckin love it), Fred and everyone else. George Takei rules! hahahahhaa
