hmmm i don't really feel much like writing so i'll try to be brief.

this led to a really exciting turn of events: my hallmate, Pooja, has commissioned me to do a charcoal portrait of her mother (from a photo). This is my first ever paid commission! I feel all glowy and giddy! We'll decide on a price after I'm done, so she can see the finished product and so i have some idea of how much time it took me. A commission! wow ::basks in inner warmth::
meantime, i'm reading Bram Stoker's Dracula. I thought it might be kind of dull because obviously i *know* the story, but it's actually rather a page-turner. Enjoying it immensely.
