"Texas State University police are investigating an unattended death at Bobcat Village, a Texas State apartment complex.
Two Texas State Residence Life staff members discovered the body of an unidentified male in an apartment at Bobcat Village Apartments at approximately 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13.
Bobcat Village is located on Aquarena Springs Drive in San Marcos, near the main entrance to the Texas State campus.
The two staff members had entered the apartment to check its condition in preparation for check-in at the start of the semester next week. They immediately notified police, who arrived on the scene within minutes and began an investigation.
Preliminary police reports have not yet been filed. Further information will be provided as soon as it is available."
