Wishing everyone (circle and others) a fantastic new year!  I made and enjoyed the traditional black eyed peas yesterday, well over 100 of them, so I am very sure this will be a lucky year.  

So I went to the inauguration!  Only made it as far as the parade which wasn't great (was NOT on the mall), but then got to an inaugural ball and saw Obama from 20 feet away!  Here are some of my photos, and my friend Mollena's excellent video of Barack's speech and dance.

Hey livejournalistas,

Has anyone got a good solution for reading a friends list on an iphone?  There doesn't seem to be a standard iphone view and though my vision is good, it's not THAT good.  (I am looking for a simplified view of all posts like you might fiind on facebook or multiply or one of the many other social-network-thingies.)
