Finished reading 93 pages of Agatha Christie’s
Crooked House. It’s a page turner alright. My mom--her ultimate fan, got me hooked to this. :-)
Also read
Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Jeremy Fisher and Peter Rabbit in soft copy. Both the fellas are so damn cute. Like Fisher, I want a colorful macintosh and a pair of galoshes too. Ribbit to that! :D
Found a piece of glass cozily stuck in my feet. Didn’t even realize when that happened. Felt a weird irritating sensation for a while, before discovering it’s a glass splinter. Poor Suku! :-(
Gobbled five pieces of
Lindor milk chocolate truffles. If heaven had a taste, this would be it. :D
Completed one of my three assignments while listening to some really sexy (read despondent) ghazals. Jaggu, Ghulam Ali…the works. Humko kiske gham ne maara, yeh kahani phir sahi…wah wah. ;-)
Got cheered up by a gorgeous card from Samwise and pep talk from Dewey.
Watched the incessant rain fill up the roads and drains. Eeeps!
Snapped a few shots of the glorious blue wind chimes, in the house, also did some post-processing of previously taken pictures.
Wrapped myself in a paisley-print shawl and rested like a good girl most of the time. Slept loads too. The fever is gone. The weakness stays. Do you see a halo appear above my head? No? Stop watching
24, will you! :-P
Finally saw
Charlotte’s Web (2006) -- the movie. I must have wept buckets. It was an awfully sweet movie. But a heart-wrenching one. Julia Roberts has the kindest voice ever. I wish every one had a special friend like Charlotte A. Cavatica. The film doubled my respect for spiders and pigs. :-)
