The crimson carnival

Habits form easily. And so, since I got one, I don't usually step out of the house without my camera. Luckily, that particular day, when I was visiting my cousin and his family, was no exception.

A religious procession was passing by. I asked my cousin to stop his car. Got off and simply couldn't stop clicking these beautiful and expressive Kathakali Theyyam performers accompanied by a band of musicians and camouflaged dancers.

Throbbing music, thrilling dance and gushing viewers -- art came to a full circle.
