DC Comics Scans That Make Me Smile.
Under the cut are some scans from the most recent World's Finest, Batgirl, Secret Six and Legends of the Dark Knight Special
World's Finest #4 -- Here is Supergirl handing Damian his arse on a plate. Poor Damian does seem to get scruffed a lot, doesn't he? I can just see Alfred carrying him up to bed that way.
Batgirl #7 -- I really love the dynamic between Batgirl and Damian. They're like two squabbling siblings. For the first time (for me) Batgirl feels like one of the family. As for Damian, he takes his maiming opportunities where he can. He keeps a sword in his pocket for just such an occasion.
Legends of the Dark Knight Special -- I remember this one from the first time around because it's the story I tell when I'm trying to describe my Joker and why, as good as Heath Ledger was in the latest film, he's not my Joker. He wasn't fun enough. This Joker trusses up Tim with fairy lights and a Christmas bauble and hits people with a stolen car. It's horrific but fucking funny. I'm glad they published this one again.
That's Tim having a Flashback to the year off he took with Dick and Bruce after Infinite Crisis. I post this simply because I love that Bruce is tumbling through the air in the background. Bless him. I think someone has smashed Dick's face in with a hammer.
Secret Six #18 -- I post these two for ladyk_d_azrael because we clearly have great minds that think alike. Blackest Night zombies attack and Ragdoll deals with them in his own special way. Watch what happens when one of the zombies gets frisky with him.
I agree, Ragdoll, that really is saying something. Have I mentioned the Secret Six is my favourite comic book at the moment?
