There was another Spider. A fucking huge one. I reacted quicker this time and, in an almost controlled manner, managed to fetch my grandad and point out its exact location. That's better than last time, when it ran up MY FUCKING ARM!!! And then got away!!!! That was the initial reason Teenage Dirtbag was delayed, btw; I had to abandon the computer, with the half-written chapter - and the entire room for well over a week.
And I was just starting to get my confidence back.
We've installed a pest repeller, which harmlessly discourages spiders, bugs, rats etc but the box said it could take 2-4 weeks to become effective.
My skin itches.
Seriously, though. This is real problem for me. I'm living in absolute terror and there is nothing I can do about it.
But in other, much more happy, news. I won the Superman book I was bidding for on Ebay. 99p!! It's a brand new hardback book that I was considering paying £15.00 for! Whoooooooo!!! Now, only two days until the auction for the pink Batman Trainers end. Wish me luck...
