how to write Japanese on Windows XP/Vista

Jun 30, 2007 20:39

I got this link from my wonderful Japanese language teacher Saito sensei. Many of my friends had the necessary packages installed, but didn't know how to use them, so here's a link where everything is explained. 日本語オーケー!
There's a step-by-step video for both Windows Vista and Windows XP. The audio is in Japanese, but the main points are also written on screen in English. It doesn't explain everything thoroughly (such as how to type を or づ) but it's fun finding out the small tricks ^^. I still have to figure out how to write Diego in katakana though >__<

So that's about it. Well, my pc sometimes freaks out -as i keep switching between JP and EN, but have also enabled IT and AR. If that ever happens to you, just right-click and "Restore the language bar". That's fixed all the probs I've had till now ^^

tekk, nihongo
