*anyone looking westward to the lake would have noticed the huge blue-and-white sails of the Lino en Kuldes carrying the ship to port earlier in the day, but so far no one has stepped off the ship except the grunts carrying the mooring ropes and embarking ramp. Eh, yeah, I wondered about that. No major emergencies came up, did they? We didn't make port at Vinay until a few days ago as it was, to take care of some official business.

I... went on a little trip with that bounty hunter to Vinay instead. I prolly just missed ya by a day or so; came back by cargo boat. Wade ain't comin' back here again, though.

I only just got back myself, so I don't know what else is goin' on. Some new folks are here, I hear. Some kid showed up playin' music, and I was grumpy for the rest of the day.

Ah, ain't that the luck? If we'd crossed paths you could have come back with us, but looks like fate said no to that one. That's all right. We were hard at work anyway.

Sounds like both of us need a drink after our adventures!

Well, hello there, Lady Kika. I did notice the Grishend looking fine in the harbor there, good to see you're back as well.

Yes. I trust hope your voyage went as well as mine?

As well as work for a Naval ship can ever go. We came back in one piece, that's what matters.

You must have slipped right on past us, when we were docked in Vinay or something.

I hear somebody who ought to remember that my title is "admiral," thank you very much.

What's the good word, Kyle? *back-slap*

*ow* Can't complain, sir. You have a good trip at sea?

As good as can be expected. Got a little work done, got some happy merchants and a little extra for the supply coffers. I guess that counts, doesn't it?

Pshaw, it was just a couple of weeks for exercise and law enforcement. Though it kind of got turned into almost a month, but eh. We're used to that.

Kinda' like how my weeks recoverin' turned into almost a month, eh?

You should've stayed out there for a few more weeks, old man. *grins*

Pretty much. I see you haven't gotten yourself into any further trouble since.

Pssh, why, you planning something, Pirate Hervey?
