(no subject)
Just realized I haven't really mentioned the result of the whole "overdue" book mess-up that happened a few weeks back in my last un-F-locked entry. I probably mentioned something about this in an F-locked posted, but thought I'd just throw it out here.
I "kindly" mentioned that there's got to have been a glitch in the system that gave me a fee I shouldn't even owe, and apparently it had already been mentioned to the library by a different patron - now people, how stupid do you really need to be to not fix it when you first discovered it?
The end result: the fee was "waived" - interpret as, no I didn't have to pay them anything, and was thanked for mentioning their mistake. Yeah, whatever.
Since this incident, I have a feeling I haven't really had much a great experience with the libraries, especially Koerner (which probably is a bit of a personal thing, which I don't really feel like discussing here anymore); Asian Library seemed a bit messed up when they found out a few of the books I wanted to look at was "missing."
Just as conclusion: I love online sources so much more now =p
Not much more than the usual going on with life now, suffering from 3 papers that are to be done within the next 3 weeks or so, one of which is due Thursday (and like I've actually started writing anything? yeah, right).
I'm obviously not managing time that well (as if that was anything new) but meh, all this'll come to an end eventually - or so I hope (quite desperately too =p)
