I'd like to date my blogs all the way back to the 1800s for genealogical reasons.

Currently you can only past date blogs to the 1970's. I've got some old letters and diary entries from my family, lots from world war 2 and a few from 1978. I really want to post them as the dates the letters were written. That would be awesome. It would look like it was my great grandfathers blog. A blog of loooove. Old timey love.
An ordered list of benefits

• More family history nuts would populate the site to do the same thing I want to do.
• More lovers of history would populate the site to read letters from world war 2.
• Some wacky fiction lover types may create blogs from the Victorian era which would be highly entertaining. "Ugh. Can you believe the nerve of that seamstress."

An ordered list of problems/issues involved

• Doubtful that anyone dating their entries that far back are the original authors of the entries.
