Be able to see if a user's account is currently online or offline.

Full description of the idea
This is something that cane be done with user accounts only, and not communities. If a user is currently logged on a little notification signifying the user being online can appear in the pop up when hovering the pointer over the username. Also, an icon or little image can also be present on the profiles of each user signifying the user as being online or offline. This could also be an optional feature in case a user does not want his online status to be known.
An ordered list of benefits

• Friends can know when their friends are currently logged onto livejournal.
• This could help many people with having conversations and not having someone to wait endlessly for someone to reply to a post or comment because they would know that the person they are waiting for is offline or online.
