Expanding the friends module to inclue ALL of your friends in the My LJ page.
Full description of the idea
I'd like the option of expanding the friends module on My LJ to be able to view all of my friends on that page.
This is because the Edit Friends page takes so long to load. When I want to go through my friend's list, checking each friend's user info (perhaps to see what mutual friends we have), it takes 85 seconds for my Edit Friends page to fully load. It takes 8 seconds for the My LJ to be ready to click on someone.
An ordered list of benefits
- Ability to go directly to each friend's journal without waiting for the Edit Friend's page to load.
- Better ability to keep up with information on friends.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
- Can't think of any.
An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
- I have no idea what the technical ramifications are. I'd just like to be able to drag the box larger or smaller; or to specify the size.
