I like this idea. I don't even use a cellphone but get annoyed with checking emailed comments on long posts.

Hmm. Or maybe an option to omit the entry (or parent comment) content altogether. (I'm not 6A, and I'm not sure whether it would make sense, businesswise, to have both options. If you could have only one of "new comment above" and "new comment only" (in addition to the existing "new comment below"), which would you choose?)
