Flickr has a view of your friends' [they call them "contacts"] pictures, including all public pictures, and any "friends-only" pictures for which you have access when you are signed in to flickr.

• Some people might be using "security through obscurity," expecting people not to be able to find their pictures unless they specifically go looking for them.
