I don't know if it'd be commercially viable and sale-able enough though?

Definitely an interesting idea so far though.

OT: I did once think a book about the LJ server software for installations should be written; like MT has. But that's another story.

With over 6 million accounts, I'm not sure LJ has a publicity problem.

It would require several chapters on basic grammar and spelling.

Is it wrong that I read that as "LiveJournal: For Dummies" and assumed you meant the title would be the thesis of the entire book?

I didn't have a novel in mind. Of course, someone would have to evaluate whether the story is even interesting.
