Generate a list of the cities associated with the phone post numbers that all people may view.

Full description of the idea

Currently, only paid/permanent users may view the list of states, cities, and numbers availible to call to post by phone. This is for security, to avoid having those numbers flooded with irrelevant calls.

The cities and states associated with the list of phone post numbers would be listed, without the phone numbers. Everyone (users and non-users) would be able to view the list. A link to the list of cities and states would be provided in the current Phone Post FAQ.

An ordered list of benefits

More people would be willing to buy paid accounts if they saw that their area had a local phone post number to call.

Not everybody has the time on their hands to brute-force guess the LJ phone post numbers based on city and state.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved

Someone with too much spare time could do a brute-force guess of the numbers.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

Make a manually-updated FAQ entry. (inelegant, quick in the short run, painful in the long run)

Make a page based on a master table list of phone numbers and the associated city/state. To save processing power, have it update itself from the table (?) once a day, or only when that table is updated. (I'm assuming that there is a table holding these numbers.)
