October is National Anti-Bullying Month in the US. I believe many comments on posts on LJ can be construed as bullying. I suggest you remind users not to bully other users on LJ.

Full description of the idea
Many people are unaware of how bullying can happen online. Some responses to posts consist of personal attacks on other members, calling them idiots or morons or other derogatory terms.
An ordered list of benefits

• LJ would support National Anti-Bullying Month.
• Members would not resign their accounts because of bullying by other members.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved

• Probably, most members guilty of bullying other members will not recognize themselves.
