Community Posting Access Changes

At least a select-all across multiple pages. Or maybe an "Also grant posting access to all current members?" question upon conversion. (I'm thinking about scenarios where for example someone's posting access has been removed for good and sufficient reason, and they should not regain it due to an LJ-knows-best maneuver upon changing the community's settings.)

Oooh, that's a good point, and I didn't realize that there were instances where posting access was deliberately stripped from specific members. Until I saw your comment, I thought it was just a bug on LJ's part, but now I understand why it would be intentional.

And with that in mind, I like your idea, too.

A button granting posting access to all current members sounds good.

Current behavior respects previous individual selections and only applies to new members. I agree that the suggestion addresses a need, but as worded it doesn't sound like it would work well in the scenario where every current member of the community's posting privileges are as they should be. Confirmation screen checkbox also would work for that scenario.
