Title
Community Posting Access Changes

Short, concise description of the idea
When a community's settings are switched from "selected members only may post" to "all members may post" that should give posting access to all current members.

Full description of the idea
I recently changed the settings on a community I maintain from "selected members only may post" to "all members may post." I was expecting this to allow all the members to post, as that is why I did it. However, it didn't actually give posting access to the current members. I had to go in and manually give each individual member posting access. This was not so strenuous with the 20 members the comm had, but if it were a comm with 1,000 members that would have been really obnoxious.
An ordered list of benefits
  • 1. Setting will function as expected, as its name indicates.
  • 2. Members will be able to post immediately.
  • 3. Mod is saved the hassle of doing more work manually.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • 1. I don't know how hard this would be to code.
