Full description of the idea
Currently, Interest Pages are showing the most recent entries people have made. However, many users want to keep their fannish lives separate from RL and therefore do not want to automatically have their entries thrown into a forum where anyone can find them. It should be possible to opt oneself out of participation in these pages, just as it's possible to prevent one's LJ account from appearing in web searches.
An ordered list of benefits
- Privacy, increased user control on where one's own entries appear.
- Time/effort/funds for programming. Extra layer of programming would possibly allow for more bugs.
