Shouldn't users be able to see if a memorable entry is still on LJ or not without clicking?
Full description of the idea
I know a lot of people have been deleting their journals lately. That got me to thinking about "Memories". Is there any way you guys can add a crossout feature? Have memory entries crossed out if a journal has been deleted/that entry has been deleted? As far as I know, the only way to tell if a memorable entry has been deleted is to click on it and see if the entry is still there or not. Is this feature a possibility in the future?
An ordered list of benefits
- I think it'd just make the memorable entries section clearer. You can tell right away when an entry has been deleted and you can go ahead and remove it from your memories section. It'd eliminate the chance of clicking on an entry you have in that section and being disappointed once you see that journal/that entry has been removed.
- I think it should be an opt-in thing so the users that want the feature can have the feature for their particular journals. It seems like an easy enough feature imo. I can't imagine it causing a lot of problems as long as you have the option to decide if you want it or not.
