???

This sounds like a lot of coding, by the way, for something I'm not sure many would use...

Ahhh, sorry. I meant, where would these quotes come from to make up this database? Would this be a list that the user compiles individually, or would they be snippets culled from people's public entries, or would they come from a quotes community like metaquotes, etc.?

The last one might be okay, since I think it requires permission on the part of the one being quoted, but the second one might be a breach of privacy (even with public entries), and the first one... it's just as easy to collect these quotes in Notepad and then copy and paste them as needed.

No, I'm sorry! I didn't make it clear that I -- like you -- didn't understand, which is why I put in the question marks!

What you said made perfect sense to me!

Ahh, gotcha! :D Thanks! :3

But actually, it was a good thing anyway, because I was being a bit too terse there in the original comment, and I always like to give examples of what I mean by something, so it might help the OP clarify what they're talking about. =)

YOU??? Terse???

Um. NO.

I think you're one of those 'voices of reason' here at suggestions, in all honesty!

It's always a delight to read what you have to say...

Hence why my default icon is the "tl;dr" one. XD Actually, a lot of my responses (in general, not just on suggestions) are little more than brief a "me too." But yeah... I'm quite guilty of herding teal deer. XD

But thanks, dear! <3 I'm glad to hear that because a lot of the time, I'm not even sure what I'm talking about. XD; So I'm glad that my ramblings make sense! :3

And likewise! <3 I love seeing you around here for the same reason. You have insight on things that I don't, so it's nice to hear your take on them, and you explain them very well, at that.

You know, I think we have an amazing GROUP of people who participate here, frankly! I always enjoy seeing what all the 'regulars' (if you will) have to say about the suggestions shared in this community.

And it seems like a good mix, too.

Having viewed groups of this sort professionally, it's no easy thing to find a variety of people who can calmly and sincerely express their feelings to one another. I like it very much that the people here do this so much BETTER than other forums I've been part of...

Oh! And thanks for the kind words. I try to always participate, no matter how crazy my work life might be...
