My ex once told me that "the people closest to you, hurt you the most" (something like that kind of saying). It's very true, common and logical in most cases. Well, in this case, I hate to say that my mother is. I really don't know what to feel about her sometimes.... there are times when I see her happy, influential and motivating to me, but

The only thing that I can say to you is do not give up on your mother.
Unfortunately, your relationship with your mother, since I've known you has been indescribable. Fortunately for you, I believe it is where you gain your inner strength!
Sometimes, God will put us in a really sticky situation because he can see something positive that we cannot. I really think that your mother needs you more than anything, despite how she may come off and make you feel sometimes. She obviously is having some inner problems with herself and needs you to pray for her.
I've never experienced you having a cold heart towards anyone, including your mother and believe that you and your mom's relationship serves some sort of purpose. It may be really hard to understand and you may feel like you should have given up a long time ago, but the blessing is...you have not!!
Look deeper into your relationship, and ask God to help you make your mother a more positive and understanding person. Don't support negativity and continue to pray.
I will continue to pray for you and your mother and always call me or come by when you need to.
Love you!

I guess it's just tiring to me because it's been ongoing for several years.... ever since I hit my teenage years. The divorce made everything worse but after these 8 years, I thought that at least my parents would stop bashing each other behind their backs.... it's stupid since it looks like it's a game of reputation to them. The only thing that I don't like about all this is them using my sister and I in the picture.
:0) Thanks Peaches and for your prayers.
