Ah, Halloween. Even the mansion is in the spirit of the occasion. No one will mind if I trick or treat despite no longer being a child, I trust?

I seem to be younger than I'm supposed to be. This must be another of the unusual phenomenon that occur with some frequency in this mansion. It's been quite some time since I was this small; it's rather disconcerting. Most peculiar. I'm not sure I care for it. I'd say someone was attempting to give me an interesting case to solve, but if that's the case, it's a dismal failure. Far too obvious and hence, not worth my time. I'd prefer there not be a repeat of yesterday, however, though I understand you weren't the initial aggressor.

Monochrome; how interesting. First emotions, then vision. What next, hearing? That could be quite unpleasant.

Any side effects others have noticed? Many of you seem to find this state depressing; I wonder if that is integral to this change or merely an unintended side effect? The matter deserves further study.
