last night at cunneeeeeens with the wild acupuncturists we had a staged reading of savage love. after a couple beers there was some stuttering and a little sloshy speech but, all is well.
evilgrl confessed her love for cgj which is ubercute because it's been a secret-at- school crush for a while now. i love watching people crush out.
it's a beautiful thing.
thebadredhead and evilgrl are keeping me alive these days.
if it were all the insence burning meditation all day crowd here i would be a much less (hung over yes, but also) sane person. it is bad enough to feel completely severed from your former self.
but, to lose a cell phone on top of it?
that's another story.
it was harrowing.
i was carrying too many bags (hard to imagine)
one of the handles broke,
i hit myself in the face,
jumped,
hit my head,
and heard something drop.
(cellphone)
said 'fuckitt!'
and went on with my day.
it was sad to lose so many numbers but, i have to admit that getting all new numbers is very fun. plus, i like my new camera phone.
it is so very shiney.
anyway, i'm feeling very happy to be somewhat better connected to people i care about. it's funny how a little incident can lead to such lovely interactions and also getting to spend some qt with people i adore has made my life so much less of a study-induced-coma sad place.
