day 2 London
Started off early: 5 am! I walked to the Thames River from their flat. tried to look for a breakfast place, but no where was open, so I took a few pictures and headed back. Then I caught the tube to Tower of London. It was wicked. I did a tour with the Yeoman Guard and the guide was fascinating. They actually have living quarters in the Tower. And then I went to see Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, London Eye, Tower Bridge and the Tate Gallery. The Tate is a Modern Art Museum. It was really quite cool--- a lot of very weird stuff. Not like the MOMA which has a lot of traditional modern art. For example., the Tate had a can of human excrement and a urinal labled as modern art. Then I had rasberry and ginseng tea at a local cafe.
then Fumi and Dougie and I went and ate dinner at Rockets and I had anchovies for the first time and got drunk of nice wine! What a blast of a day!
