She entered all majestic and panther-like, walking with a glow that lingered behind her like a comet trail through the dimly lit parlor. Intensity poured into the room with every powdered step. Her eyelids hid what should’ve been two yellow disks with black slits running vertically through their centers, but in those two leaky portholes one could see only the insecurity of a cornered rodent, attributing her sting to that of a defensive bee.
