(no subject)
I passed my first year in the University of Manchester! Woohoo! Don't know how well I did yet because we will only get our results in August. I only received a letter letting me know that I passed, which is good enough for me! :) It was a nice way to start off my day. After that I went to sit in the sun for almost 2 hours, which was nice although it was extremely hot! Not complaining though, I wish this weather would last all summer!! But I know that is highly unlikely...
Went out on Saturday night and it was a disaster. I was meant to go out with both Hanna and Kaisa, but in the end they both wanted to go to different places and both were too stubborn to give in. I wouldn't have minded either place, I just wanted us to stay together. But then Kaisa said she would just go home if we decided to go to the place she disliked, which I guess is understandable since she hates it and didn't want to pay 4 euros to get in. So we headed our seperate ways, Hanna going to BeeBop with some of her other friends and Kaisa and I going to Cabaret. But to our horror the queue was HUGE!! So we ended up waiting in the queue for a little over an hour, and by the time we got in I only had an hour and half before my bus left. And to make things worse, Kaisa was having some crisis with her drunk boyfriend so all she did the whole time was text him! I got so annoyed so I just walked off to find other people to chill with since I had just paid 5 euros to get in and I didn't want to waste the little time I had standing there watching her text her boyfriend. I found Mikko and danced with him for the rest of the night, which was nice since they were playing good music. Then I was a good girl and took the 2.10 bus home, instead of the 4.30 bus which I took last time. Got home and talked to Tom on skype until like 5.15am, after which I was completely knackered.
Seems like I have a million and one things to take care of this week. Need to fill out stupid KELA forms so I'll get money next year, and I need to apply for a new passport and a grant again. Doubt I'll get it this year though since I got 5000 euros from them last year. And then I have to go shopping for a dress since it's my sister's Rippijuhlat and my brothers graduation party on Saturday. Oh and I need to go practice driving to the airport so I can safely go pick up Tom next tuesday! :)
