Christmas was very peaceful, like the usual. It's always nice to relax after having a nice lunch and opening gifts. I really didn't know what I wanted this year, but I was happy with what I got. Supernatural Season One, PotC II, the PotC calendar, a cell phone card for minutes $25 to the GAP, Taking Back Sunday's Louder Now and Senses Fail's Still Searching. Oh...and from Yankee Swap with the cousins...$20 to Newbury Comics.
One thing I would absolutely die for though: Tiger Lou's CDs. Yes, I mean both of them. Or even some of their merch. I can only get it shipped to me from Sweden or Germany and I'm still thinking about it...just because the prices are in Euros, and I suppose I could learn to convert now before I head off to Europe in a few years (should that plan work out). I can only listen to their music through their site audio player, and I'm too lazy to get it through Itunes. But anyway, they are bloody awesome, I can not stress that enough. They totally got me through a week and a half of hell.
I'm glad Nicole liked her CDs along with the Pocky, and Mom liked the picture frame set with my own artwork slipped in the frames. Watercolour is not bad, I swear. It's actually kind of nice. Still have to give the girls their presents...which are wicked good by the way. I also declare that boys are stupid, though that might have already been a given.
Thanks to
arrmaitee for the virtual drink! Cheers to that! As of right now, I'm catching up on everything I haven't been able to do, and I'm working on some more artwork that I've been wanting to do. I'm hoping this break goes by really slowly...
