A/N: this is an AWDT recap of previous prompts for
nocturnali and
jamie2109. the birthday fest was absolutely fabulous by the way! the prompt used is "this is my life" which surprisingly worked with this pretty well. cheers!
To murder or not to murder-that is the question:
Whether ‘tis shrewd in the mind to escape anguish
With power and honor of glorious defeat
Or to betray my master to protect a boy
And, more so, save the world. To die, to sleep-
No more-and by sleep to say we end
The corruption and prejudices
That we fight against-‘tis a hope
Devoutly to be granted. To die, to sleep-
To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there are the Horcruxes,
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
When we resolve this war of Dark and Light,
Must give us pause. There’s the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
For who would tolerate the professor and Death Eater,
Th’ oppressor’s wrong, the arrogant man’s selfishness
The pangs of despised love, the commands obeyed
The trust of the Order of Phoenix, and with that taken away
Creates the burden of remorse
When he himself might his quietus make
With the Killing Curse? To send the adept headmaster to his grave
While refusing to taint the foolish Chosen One
But that the dread of something beyond death,
The undiscovered veil from those who bourn
No traveler returns, puzzles the will
And make us wonder who will end it all
Unless the Dark Lord and his nemesis die together?
Thus conscience does make cowards {of us all}
At least that’s what the Golden Boy accuses me to be
But imprudent people know not of what choice shall be made
Serve the immortal creature or assist the lost savior
With this regard for innocence or evil
And lose my name in action.-Merlin who witnesses all,
Predicament guides me to my death chamber.-As a traitor nonetheless,
This is my life at stake, to be remembered when one dies.
