My back was really bothering me to the point of almost debilitating me. I hadn't had a good night's sleep due to the pain in 3 weeks and you could tell.

Don't know if you tried this...I've been having a similar problem, and went for a massage. My massage therapist recommends Thai massages and yoga for long term back maintenance.

yep, you're right I've gotta get back into yoga and exercising.
if I stick to it, my back would feel a lot better :)

Yay! Glad you feel better! I was thinking of trying acupuncture, but I'm a little afraid to, without a good referral and I don't know anyone who's been to one. I think I'll hunt around and check it out though. It sounds like it works wonders! I have been alternating between visits to the chiropractor and massage therapist.

it's very important to get a good acupuncturist. The first one I tried a year ago wasn't very reassuring/effective. so it turned me off acupunture for a while. But this new one that my friend highly recommended was truly awesome. They're up in all the latest modern technology for TCM and they were really good at explaning everything. Most importantly, my back feels great now!
Let me ask them to see if they would recommend anyone for YVR!

Thanks for sharing the experiences. Here's hoping they have a YVR recommendation! :)
