So this morning, I met with Justy to see the Barbie exhibition with her. It was fun. She was a hell of a lot more excited than me about it. This is no surprise given that she palyed with them more as a kid. I was the lego girl, not Barbie so much. We got there at 9.30am only to find out it started at 10am. That prompted me taking Justy through various laneways in the CBD to find a place for coffee. I ended up with a soy mocha latte and she had earl grey. It was a nice way to start.
When we ended up getting to the Barbie exhibition, it wasn't as packed as I expected. This was because I believe it's the last weekend before it closes. I could be wrong. At any rate, going on a weekend is not always great for poopular exhibitions for obvious reasons. It was interesting seeing all the different body shapes, faces, hair and outfits that Barbie has gone through. Barbie has certianly been there, done that, including suffering a financial crisis.
Afterwards Justy showed me where the Faceshop is in Melbourne Central. Mum wanted me to buy some nailpolishes for her because she liked the colours and they're dirt cheap. Yay for $3 nailpoliash!
For a snack she bought stuff from Breadtop. I didn't want any, up until I had a couple bites. OMG so yummy! I then had a brain wave to buy a bbq pork bun and an egg custard bun. Silly girl gave me a red bean bun which i didn't discover until I was already on the train. Oh well, it was still ok.
And now to write CVs and do the homeowrk from my redundancy workshops.
I've decided to get back into work with the gaming industry whilst I'm figuring out what to do next.
Ugh.
