Sorry that I have taken one of my customarily protracted leaves. But duty calls, and lately, it calls often.
That, or I seem to have developed a conscience and no longer only take cases that strike my fancy.
At any rate, during my travels, I've been hearing a lot of hype about an upcoming novel called Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. My research has led me to understand that it is the end of a series, but that was the only coherent information I unearthed, as everything else read a little something like:
"OMG EDWARD IS SOOOOOO HOT~~~~"
"JACOB NEEDS TO DIE OMFG D:< HE'S GETTING IN THE WAY~!!"
And my favorite:
"Screw knights, I'm waiting for my vampire in shining armor. Uh. Literally."
I am no stranger to the language of fangirl, and reading those lines I can hear the high-pitched squealing, but I have postulated the following:
1) Edward is attractive.
2) Edward is a vampire.
3) Edward is shiny.
4) Jacob is the other man.
Barring those, does this series have any other attributes that make it worth reading?
fangirls,
jacobs,
edwards,
vampires
