She's actually surpassed her birth weight at last!
I ran out "for a quick errand" yesterday. We spent 4 hours in Target/at the mall (oh, go tell it to Reverend Billy...I needed some household stuff and shopping online is driving me to cabin fever) but alas, only 30 minutes of those were spent shopping. The rest were spent changing her, feeding her, or calming her when she was crying. This stuff is not going to be easy! I managed to buy the chopsticks at the Japanese import store that I went there for...but not much else was accomplished except now I can say I've made a journey with her without T. to help me wrangle the car seat/stroller. Everything takes a LOT longer than before. Just getting in the car is a serious undertaking. There are no "quick errands" any more. I wonder about going back to work and what the rhythm of life will become. Yikes!
Like right now, I am trying (and failing) to make headway on signing the thank you cards for Burning Man's volunteers and staff, which have been brought to my house so I can do so...I am almost finished with the a-b box, after a whole day of trying to focus on the task. Woo. But I really, really want to do this and sign them....I need an autopen!
OK, back to it...oops, nope. she's crying again.
