I figured it had been far too long since I actually posted in my REAL journal.  Thought I'd give it a go, as i have nothing better to do. 
So those of you who no me in real life know that Friday I received some shocking news.   It didnt hit me as bad as it did a friend of mine, I think.  And I'm doing better today.  I havent talked to Amanda, but

I havent seen Amanda since it happened. I dont know what I would say to her. Im glad shes doing better considering...
I've felt that way about Logan recently too...
Like, I thought about the Placebo concert I want to go to, and how Amanda likes placbo and might want to go with...then i thought "i hope she can get a sitter"
then i remembered....Its like sometimes it hasnt really sunk it, you know?

I bet she would LOVE to go to the concert if she can get the money..that would really lift her spirts...

I don't know what your news was, but I hope that it wasn't too devastating and that you feel better soon.

I've never been to the grand canyon, but I imagine pictures don't do it justice.

A good friend of mine recently lost her baby. :( It was very sudden.

Yes, the grand canyon is pretty....phenomenal...it was good to see again (i saw it about six years ago) Its gorgeous until you hike a long ways down and suddenly realize you have to get yourself back UP :P

I'm sorry about that. That must have been really hard for her. I can only imagine, well not even that, because I'm a terror when it comes to children, but either way.

I have been in that situation soooo many times. It's never good. I'm sooo lazy, so I'm like, "I'll just sit here, you go get the helicopters when you get to the top"

Yes, I cant even begin to imagine what it would be like to lose a child.

*laughs* yeah Karin and I ere talking about how amazing it would be to repel down the Grand Canyon......as long as there was a helicopter at the bottom, waiting to fly us back up.

no...no, Im sorry, i didnt mean to worry you over SG Amanda. She is happy and healthy. My other friend Amanda is the Amanda in question. Doesnt really make it any better though :(
And dont worry, I know what you mean, there are....no words for something like this. I cant imagine the loss she must feel either.
I'm doing better thank you btw, and i believe she is doing better as well.
