another book, "Jumping in Sunset" by Dawn Ringling
Angie: I heard somewhere that forgiveness means you give up your right to get even. (355)
Ken: Is life easier without being in love?
Pamela: In a way... But that doesn't mean it's better... I'd like to hope that when things are right in a marriage, those complications are part of the joy. (365-366)
Pamela: How am I supposed to live my love out... what does it look like? IS it more than a simple emotional or physical attraction? (401)
simple synopsis: social climbing husband leaves homemaker wife for fellow church-goer lawyer. they move to LA. the wife ends up buying a cabin near a lake near her childhood home. everybody eventually finds some sort of peace.
so maybe i'm bad at summarizing but it was definitely more about seeking forgiveness and getting through it than a romanace novel.
