Good Day
Happy Monday!!!
Pretty happy today, mostly because my bank card that I had to cancel Easter Weekend, has now arrived. It says a lot that the main reason I am happy about it is because I was able to post my phone bill. I was due to pay my phone bill when my card went missing, and as a result I was late, and my service was cut. So bloody stressful, when I am using my phone all the time. Like, I have been helping folk with stuff to do with music and websites. And that is hard to do when you can't even reply to an email. No idea how I managed without a smartphone before they were a thing. I am such a slave to the bloody thing. But *breathes* at least that is all resolved now.
I still have to book stuff for going away to Ireland in June for a friends wedding. Yeah, should have organised it ages ago, but I didn't. Still plenty of time, so I am starting to plan now. That way I am organised.
I have booked my first driving lesson in about 10 years, and I am crapping myself. I ordered myself a new drivers provisional at the start of the year, with the thought that I would try and get my driving done. It is so frustrating having to get the bus everywhere. I mean, most of the time I am not in a rush, but when there are traffic issues, and the bus is delayed before it gets to you, in a town you don't need to go near, it is annoying. So I have that to plan for. Have been reading my Highway Code book and doing practice tests.
And to top it all of, I bought Babymetal's new album, Metal Resistance, this morning. It is fab. And then came home to discover Good Charlotte's new song, 40 oz. Dream, was given its first worldwide radio play. Then Benji and Joel were interviewed. It was awesome. Their new album, Youth Authority, comes out in July, and went up for pre-order on itunes. And if you did pre-order, you got Makeshift Love and 40 oz. Dream as automatic downloads.
It was also my birthday yesterday. Turning 32 is meh. Was a quiet day, followed by heading out to see some metal bands at night. A good way to celebrate my birthday. As little hassle as possible. Birthdays are not as big as they used to be. Oh well. Still have tomorrow off work, and then a new week starts, and I am going to try and do 50 hours the next few weeks, to get my money up for all the stuffs that is going on.
