Yes. I know I am a cheese-monger for using the title of an a1 song as a blog title. It just seems to fit with what I have been thinking about :S.
But I have a few friends to talk about being let down by people, normally girl/boyfriends.
(Which is great seeing as I have had no relationships for a few years :/)
Anyway, people seem to want people to change for them. I guess it's kind of like every girl (apparently) wants the bad guy to turn good because he fell in love with her. And people have their heads filled with so much crap, that they think that this may actually happen.
Why would a person, who lives in a world which states we should stay true to ourselves, change for anybody. Maybe people may change slightly, but do it for face value, until they get all the sex that they want. And usually (unless the girl gets pregnant) the bad guy will start being bad again, and bang goes the 'perfect' relationship. I think it is awful clichéd to think that you can change someone, just by being a relationship with them.
I mean, does that not seem like a tad big headed, to think that?
Well I think it is. Most people say they have changed, but they never do. Whilst I am cynical about a lot of the 'love' stuff, I think it helps me see these things with a clear mind. I mean, people complain that the guy never talks as a friend, so they think being in a relationship with him will be any different?
It just sucks when people you care about are sucked into these situations, and you can't do anything about it.
*breathes......* Rant over, been needing that out of my system for a while.
Anyways, getting excited now. Mostly because, as from midnight, I am buying my GC ticket for Glasgow.
I know the dates where released 2 weeks ago, but I don't get paid till the 27th of each month, and I have been skint for 75% of the month. So, I am happy. Contacted the Accademy, and apparently only 300 tickets have sold so far. So, am relieved at that. I am wanting to go to other dates, buuuutttt I dont know if I'll have the money. I mean if all the overtime dries up, then I will make one date, and that's it.
Its times like this I miss the money being a student brings in.
