Life otherwise is pretty much good, bad, and everything else too... The internet startup job from the summer is over. Cooper started again, so I'm at the lab 3 days a week sitting at the computer doing the tech support thing that I do...
I need more money though, and have been putting the energy out there. My friend Bob at Zeitbyte called me yesterday looking for a part-timer, and I'm all about that. Working at the other place during the summer was a serious learning experience, a major lesson on startup dynamics. The place had a TON of money, my editing station was in front of a small Picasso (a real one), and the venture capitalist backing the whole thing didn't bother to have real producers on board. I mean, they didn't have a light kit, and half of the content was interviews! Duh... seriously...
