I had been meaning to post here more frequently, but hey life got in the way.
I noticed that although some pain had improved I did not feel 'right so went back to the physio just before my next Pamidronate (as in on the friday, 300 miles from home when the pamidronate was on the monday morning).
Physio confirmed things had slipped again, put them as right as she could, and off I went home.
Pmaidronate no 2 was interesting.
Because of the inflammation of the vein in round 1 they wanted to use a bigger vein.
It took 6 attempts to get a canula into a vein (due to valves being in the way on at least two of the attempts.
They decided to also run it slower to minimise the aggravation, so I was sat for 3 hours this time not 2.
They are a fabulous team and were very supportive andhelpful, and explained everything. My veins are tricky things, so that was my issue, not their care.
Once again the pain is more manageable, definitely improving, but thigns are also more unstable.
I will be back at physio again, with a larger gap before the final pamidronate dose. Not the huge leap forward I had hoped for, and not sure what we'll try next, but feeling overwhelmed and puzzled what my body needs.
Even more puzzled about what would help my head
Ho hum, look ahead to round 3...
