I kept waking up throughout the night. Last night I was at DeeDee's house because I had 76 KTVs ready to be blasted out of his machine. After going through some of them, we played silly KTV games like replacing certain words with BEEP then ended the day with me teaching them to dance. It was 'Sorry, Sorry' first but I realised that they have NO basic dancing skills so this won't work, so 'It's You' was next as it's pretty much poses - not too bad, but I need Chi!!! Then we tried 'Gee' now it definately looked good but I seriously couldn't take DeeDee seriously so then I tried 'Genie, Tell Me Your Wish' and that was a flop as it was too feminine! Fair dos. The dancing lesson will commence again on Wed with Chi being there, I've actually just realised that I can't dance without Chi, it's weird but I think it's down to confidence.
Well, my dream....I liked!! I woke up at 12 and tried to sleep but just laid there till 1.30pm.
I wasn't in UK nor in my own home I was staying with my partner's family. (This is the second time I've had a dream about this house and this family) My partner has two brothers with him being the middle child, the eldest is married with a son about 3 years old (absolutely adorable!) and has moved away so in the house there is his father, mother, him, younger brother and myself. I know, a lot of people but my partner and his brother are only there like 25% of the time, you'll know why later.
His elder brother and family comes over every so often. His son always want to sit next to me probably because when he comes over we go mad. At the top sits his parents because the kitchen is right behind them, then clockwise is the eldest, his son, his wife, my partner, me and then his younger brother. The house is quite spacious, (I really wish I could just draw the plan it's so much easier to explain); when you come in is the staircase, there's like one master bedroom, 3 bedrooms, right next to the staircase is a piano, the living room is massive, the kitchen is too. (Now thinking about this, the plan doesn't actually make sense but then again when has dreams actually made sense?).
My partner had to go to work - in Taiwan - so basically I would be bored as everyone is working apparent from me. The younger brother wasn't going back until later on so he would keep me company, mainly taking me shopping or out of the house. It's actually quite nice that he tries to take me places considering he has a girlfriend.
My partner and younger brother are fairly close - they work together sometimes - probably closer than the eldest. When my partner was in Taiwan, they would be skyping and I would interrupt every so often! The younger brother's room is small - single bed, table for a desktop computer or was it a laptop, can't remember, built in wardrobes, there is space for someone to sleep on the floor. There's loads of posters and stuff, notice boards pinned with everything and pictures.
Well, it's a nice dream because I've dreamt of the same setting before.
Oh...I never got into the Teaching in Korea - you have lots of opportunities but not all of them are guaranteed!! I don't feel bummed especially when I've spent £100 on the documents for my visa, I was when I couldn't get started with my TEFL. I think it's because it was something that was avoidable, the organisation should've been able to sort it out, I mean waiting 2 months to get access on to the online course is just not acceptable AND on top of that I was given an expiration date to complete the course - 2 weeks - I phoned up and he was like, 'You went to the class on the 19th September so 3 months complete will mean you will need to finish it in 2 weeks time...You've had access since the 19th September...Oh, ok, right, I'll change the expiration date to 100 days from now.' STUPID!!! I'm really going to go for the Creative Apprenticeship. Another opportunity has popped up and that was thanks to DeeDee. Let's just leave it at that...
