He's a pirate, savvy? (NO SPOILERS :D)
Can you believe it's been three whole years since the first film came out? That's three years of my life sandwiched by the first two installments of the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow.
It feels like yesterday when we were sat in our English lessons, Sophie & Bryony, just... quoting, to one another. Did one of us really suggest we dissect one of his choice phrases?
... and if we did? Was it me, or does my memory fail me?
Heh, well, the film itself rocked. Come on, hands up who thought I couldn't bare to not see it on the night it opened, hmm? ;) I really enjoyed it. It didn't ruin my faith in the filmmaking industry, and it stayed true to the first film which we all know and love. And it made fun of that film in some ways, you know the ol' "let's use this joke again", but when it did, it made it very funny, rather than cheesy and rubbish and 'get a new script!'... or something.
So, no spoilers. But go see it.
