The King's Speech
I don't post very often because I'm too busy reading the awesome fics that I find on this site but I had to tell you about a movie I've just been to see. Perhaps I'm a little biased because I'm a Brit but 'The King's Speech' is an amazing movie. I was gripped from start to finish. Colin Firth was brilliant as George VI and Helena Bonham-Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) was believable as his wife. I thought I might be bored because this was hubby's choice but I really loved it. If you get a chance, then give it a try.
Also, I forgot to say that I got one of those wand remote thingys for Christmas. Haven't worked out exactly what to do yet. I'm waiting for my kids to show me (LOL) but I should be able to wave my wand or do some specific movements to switch the TV on and off, increase/decrease the volume or change channel. I'm looking forward to practising. What a geek I am!
