Yes, but you don't mention what does happen when they get bit by dogs. Namely, they get devoured in about two bites. And don't even get me started on what happens when cats or bears are around.
I think salmon are river fish. If they weren't they wouldn't have to swim upstream to spawn. They could just swim laterally. And, for the record, as a bottom dweller, I look up to you anyway.

Why are you two always picking me apart for accuracy? A salmon does swim in the sea. It's a freshwater and saltwater fish. Can't you just imagine a happy little fish that doesn't have rabies and enjoys swimming?
